Dear APO friends, Late, as usual. Our meeting is tomorrow night, April 10th at 7:30 at the Eva Perry library in Apex. I hope to see you all there. Cindy, Will, Amy, Steve, Richard, myself, Leigh, Ron, Shelley, and Patricia were at the last meeting. We had a great party the following Sat. night at Steve and Amy's. Thank you guys for the St. Patrick's day hospitality! Ron and I helped out a bit at the Durham Crop Walk registration. It was a beautiful day and I wished I was walking. Next year, maybe we can sponsor a team. At the March meeting, Richard stated that one of our goals should be to recruit new members, especially since we will be loosing Will and Cindy to the Midwest soon :( Gather together contacts you have who might be interested in participating. Shelley requested that we gather medicine bottles for her and Ron's sister to take to a Haiti mission trip this summer. Apparently, medicine bottles are in short supply. I have two and keep forgetting to gather others, so hopefully you guys can pick up some bottles at the drug store. A dinner and a movie social has been planned (tentatively) for May 16th ! (Star Wars?). A stich a blanket session and cookout has been tentatively set for April 21st at Leigh's house. We will firm up tomorrow. A Cary organization called Moveable Feast will need help picking up food on campuses at the end of the semester -- anyone care to help? I am still hoping to coordinate a library service afternoon, but am too busy at school right now. A possible Hurricanes or Cobra game social was proposed as well. That's all folks. See you tomorrow. Heather
