        Christmas Party for Battered Women's Shelter
                        An idea tossed out, but on hold until later
        Project Linus
                        This is a national project that does have one woman
in Raleigh.
                        What is it?  This project makes blankets for
others...knitted, quilted, patch work, etc.

Social:
        Bowling!!!!!!!!    We bowled 20 games on Saturday!!!!!!
                                   56 down, 19 to go to reach our goal of 75
games for the 75th Anniversary of
Alpha Phi Omega
                        Next scheduled date:  November 25,  for those of us
not traveling for Thanksgiving, to                             be preceded
by Cindy's wonderful Thanksgiving leftovers.  Boy can she cook!!
                        Final date:  Possibly December 16, with a potluck
dinner.
        Pumpkin Carving Party!!!!
                        Where:   Kathy Puetz's house
                        When:    October 29, 2000   from 2-4 pm
                        Why:      To act like one of the kids and eat
roasted pumpkin seeds!
                        What to bring:    Carving utensils, scoops for
pumpkin guts, (something to snack on
is  optional).
