IN OTHER NEWS....
Rho Chapter, at UNC-CH, is co-hosting a HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL in downtown
Chapel Hill. So, if you're in Chapel Hill this month, check it
out.
The social outing to the NC STATE FAIR last Sunday was rained out.
Anyone interested in trying again this weekend? Please contact
Amy at
<ALVande@earthlink.net>
or 266-7804.
Cindy volunteered to check into gift-wrapping at a local Barnes &
Noble
store in December. This service project would be a good way to
publicize the alumni association and to raise money for Toys for Tots.
[Toys for Tots donated their stock of toys to children in the eastern
part of the state & is facing a severe shortage for the holidays.]
The December meeting will include an ice-skating excursion.
Respectfully submitted,
Amy L. VanDeCar
TAAA Secretary
