The primary item of business for this meeting was the election of
officers.  The newly elected officers are:
PRESIDENT - Kathy Puetz
VICE PRESIDENT - Richard Stickney
SECRETARY - Amy VanDeCar
TREASURER - Ron Epps
Additionally, Will Turner agreed to serve as the TAAA Web Master.

In addition to elections, the members present discussed plans for the
upcoming months and the desired direction of the association.  The
general concensus was that the group is primarily interested in social
events, with one major service project per quarter.  This would not
preclude smaller service projects, nor would it prevent us from
participating in projects planned by the local chapters.
 

CALENDAR OF EVENTS
* SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 1999 - 9am-Noon - FOOD BANK.  3808 Tarheel
Drive, Raleigh.  Leigh Highfill <lellenhi@mindspring.com> is the
coordinator of this event.

* SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 1999 - Time TBD.  DINNER at El Rodeo (Pleasant
Valley location) and a MOVIE (TBD).  Details will be forthcoming.

* SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17, 1999 - NC STATE FAIR.  From tractor pulls to
Ferris wheels, the NC State Fair has it all.  Meeting time & place TBD.

* MONDAY-SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1-7 - NATIONAL SERVICE WEEK.  The theme for
this year is "Service to the Leaders of Today."  Cindy <CAStraw@aol.com>
& Amy <ALVande@earthlink.net> are working to plan a service project for
NSW.  Please contact them with any suggestions.

* FRIDAY-SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12-14, 1999 - REGION III CONFERENCE.  Join
active and alumni Brothers from across the region as Epsilon Mu at the
University of Maryland-College Park hosts the 1999 Region III
Conference.  For registration information, please contact the
Registration Chair, Sue Hartman <hartmans@wam.umd.edu>.
