Welcome to the official home of Alpha Phi Omega, Section 86. This section, which began on September 1, 2005, encompasses chapters and universities in Western Maryland. There are 5 active chapters in the section: Iota Gamma (Towson), Kappa Mu (Hopkins), Alpha Gamma Chi (Frostburg), Alpha Delta Gamma (Loyola), and Alpha Epsilon Lambda (McDaniel). This site is intended to provide important information to and about the chapters of this section. As it grows, this site will become a valuable resource, communication tool, and, hopefully, just a nice place to visit. We welcome all APO members to browse the site and utilize the information held within. What is Alpha Phi Omega? Alpha Phi Omega is the premier Service Fraternity in the World. Founded in 1925 in Easton, PA, the first international chapter was established in 1950 in the Philippines. Currently, there is interest in establishing Alpha Phi Omega chapters at Universities in Canada and Australia. Alpha Phi Omega is founded on the principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service. Every semester we execute a four-fold service program: Service to the campus, Service to the community, Service to the Nation, and Service to the fraternity. Above all else, Alpha Phi Omega is fun. Yes, we provide valuable service, but Alpha Phi Omega is unique because of its sense of Brotherhood and its member’s commitment to one another. Webspace Provided by www.VeryLate.com |
