Welcome to the APO Free Graphics Bonanza! Everything you find in here is free for your use on any APO flyer, brochure, web page, or any other publication you would like to use them on. On to the boring disclaimer part:

You may only use the resources found on this site if you are a Brother of or affiliated with Alpha Phi Omega, National Service Fraternity.

Okay, on to the good stuff. Most of the graphics found here are originals created by a professional graphic artist (that's what they call you when you get paid to draw). Unless otherwise noted, the graphics here are created by Jami Noguchi, who doesn't really want credit, but would like you to visit his site and current business Titanium Moose and possibly buy something from him. You may use these graphics without citing the author. He just likes making the web prettier.

If you have any graphics you would like to add, please send them via email to kane@jamihn.com and he'll post them up as soon as possible.

Okay for real, on to the good stuff. There are multiple folders to go download stuff. Most likely you'll be taking stuff from the gif and jpg directories. Those files have been optimised for fast download. If there are lots of colors and photo quality, you'll usually find them in the jpg directory. Simple graphics with simple colors are usually in the gif directory.

For the naming convention, here's an example: pin_whitebg_343x301.gif
  • The pin is what it is.
  • The whitebg is the background color. Sometimes, it will appear as hex so you can match it on your webpage. So for white it would be FFFFFF
  • The 343x301 are the dimensions. The gifs and jpgs are nice cause you can preview them in your browser. And if you want the source file, look in the Illustrator directory for gif files and the Photoshop directory for jpg. Sometimes the ai files are mirrored as Flash files. So you can find them there sometimes, too.
If you are a graphic artist and use the tools of the trade, the other folders are for you. You need Photoshop 5.x or higher to use the files in the Photoshop folder. You need Illustrator 9.x or higher for the Illustrator folder. You need Flash 5.x for the Flash folder. And they are all cross platform compatible If there are any requests for files or file formats, please send them to Requests.

ENJOY! ^_^
